There are some beautiful old songs, which were forgotten.. its nice to hear those songs again... and remembering that I grew up listeneing to these lovely songs... takes me back to my childhood days... though i have browsed some konkani cd's but never came accross the songs posted on this site... good old numbers.... nice foot tapping songs.... buffering of the songs is also good, I also dont feel like forwarding any songs that have been arranged... Thanks Glen for the good work...

Hi Daniel, The song u requested in named "Denvxarachi ladin" composed by Mr Wilfy Rebimbus. Its an old composition but its now released in Wilfy's Vol 40. So i wouldnt post the song here. Thank u.
Hi Glen,I cannot tell you how happy finding this site has made me. I can't stop smiling...my ears have been waiting for Konkani songs, if u know what I mean and I was planning on buying cds when I happened to look for them on the internet. God Bless and keep up the good work.
Hi Merlyn, Good to hear that you gonna enjoy listening to this songs, but that shouldn't restrain u from buying albums cos that will keep our music alive. i mostly upload songs here which are not available in stores. Keep enjoying the songs. Glen

Can I download and "save" ....say on a pendrive a few of the Konkanni songs that I like? If possible, then how does one do it - step by step - as I'm not that computer savvy. Thanks.
@ Harindu We also call the dance numbers Baila which have a mix of songs and the fast beat.. Henry Dsouza is a Legend. i Love all his songs, but i guess Ye Ye katrina was played on Sri Lanka Radio and thats how it got famous there.. Luke has his own version of Ye Ye Katrina inspired from this number. Cheers..

i am searching for one konkani song i heard on FM the song is about Mother Mary by a male singer ..the pain she underwent as a mother ..i dont have the lyrics or name of the singer can some one suggest the name or song please? thank you.

Man this is a great piece of work. I'm a sri lankan not a goan or speak konkani.
But in sri lanka We also have a same kind of music genre called "BAILA".
I dont know it is the same word for your 6/8 songs.
Somehow Both Konkani and Sri lankan baila are same.
I love ye ye cathrina by mr. Henry D'souza.
